Maybe she was too busy raising her kids? Or thought the safer bet would be to work in other areas she was trained in? Or maybe having a competition like PR was a kick in the pants to finally do it. But, so there, I do see your point.

I thought it was odd that Laura (in said ridiculous loft) mentioned never "having the money" to start her own line when countless other success stories have started with much less.
