I went to the show on Saturday. It was my first cat or dog show. By the time I left, I was allergic to cats. There's a lot of dander in a room full of cats. Most of the cats were exceptionally beautiful. The best part to me was the "Breed Talk," where one of the Board of Directors of the CFA answered questions regarding cats and showed off different cat breeds. I don't understand, however, buying a cat for $1000, no matter how beautiful or rarefied they are. There were a lot of shelter kitties for adoption in the lower level of MSG. Some really adorable little ones needed good homes. All in all, very interesting, except I still feel as if my head is stuffed up from all the dander... and I even have a cat myself!

Not sure if I would go to another show, but it was an interesting experience.
