Actually, robin.g, that picture is a still from Secretary. I think it was only flashed on the screen for a second during a montage. That's what I find a little offensive - it's not like she poses like this all the time, you have to dig to get this photo (or have internet horndogs dig for you).

the photo is a still from The Secretary. Not a recent movie. While certainly Maggie is an attractive woman, is it Brooklyn Paper's policy to publish compromising photos on the front page of anyone who moves into the Borough? running the photo was tasteless and a naked ploy to attract attentiong. stupid pun intended. it really was uncalled for. any photo could have illustrated the article about Gyllenhall moving to Brooklyn. this sensational one was uncalled for. Now if Maggie moved in and suddenly ran down the street naked, that would be a story. but her half naked film still is not news.

Gersh Kuntzman, the editor of the Brooklyn Papers and a former Post columnist, has taken that Brooklyn paper into new heights of provocation. He's clearly as funny and witty as anyone, but the establishment Brooklyn mentaility does not seem to be able to take the old Post like sex-on-the-front page thing well.

The "sense of humor" line would make sense if they ran the pic because it was intended to be funny in some way. In reality, it was intended as a cheap attention-grab. It was in poor taste - almost as poor as trying to stick up for the paper and its lame marketing tactics.
