A woman is "tucking" into a bowl of curry? I'm lost.

4 : EAT -- usually used with away or in

Also recommended: The "Indian Coffee", for all of a buck or so. Delicious. I like it even better than the chai tea you mentioned, which, and how's this for a twist of genius, is made with Tetley tea bags.

Actually, this deli (or 'dhaba' in punjabi: a roadside restaurant) caters to Punjabi Sikh taxi drivers, not Pakistani Pakistani drivers. The staff and patrons wearing turbans are Sikhs from India, not Muslims and not Pakistani. The restaurant next door with the Urdu sign is a Pakistani dhaba.

The food is indeed great in any case!
