Ghouls' Night

2006_10_costume.jpg I'm really into halloween costume and want to go to a good Halloween Costume Contest this year. I'd like to avoid Webster Hall, so do you know any others that are happening?

The biggest event in New York City is the Village Halloween Parade, with around 45,000 participants. If you dress up, you are welcome to join the parade. And, as you mentioned, Webster Hall hosts the Village Halloween Parade after-party.

JoonBug Productions is hosting two parties that offer prizes for the best costume. At Capitale, dress up to represent one of the 50 Greatest Moments at Madison Square Gardens and you may win a pair of tickets to see Panic! At the Disco or Dane Cook. Hit up Aer to get in touch with your sexier side at their Heaven & Hell party, hosted by MySpace.com. Ten prizes will be given out for the most "alluring" costumes of the evening.

Obivia will be hosting a Pimps and Ho's costume contest with a prize given to best single costume and best group costume.

Where do you go to release your inner ghoul?

I doubt someone who doesn't have the ingenuity to search via Google or MySpace has the ingenuity to make a prize-worthy costume.

Ugh, why won't these pimp and ho costume themed parties just die already?

I like to release my inner ghoul in the shower. It makes for an easier cleanup. Sometimes I like to do it in the kitchen. The likelyhood of getting caught excites me.
