This week in the Times, Julia Moskin fills in for a vacationing Bruni, one-stars Francois Payard's In Tent. "In too many cases, I could see where the chef was going, but the food hadn't arrived there yet," she says. But the desserts she liked, no surprise.

Tables for Two visits Momofuku Ssäm Bar, finding it surprising that so many people seem content to "spend nine bucks on a glorified burrito bar," but gives a nod to the late-night menu, when it "serves the upmarket food that better suits its sleekly modern interior."
In the Post, Cuozzo takes on Zagat's 2007 edition and its low-balled prices (they factor in the bar menu when stating the average dinner price).
