I enjoyed the show. I'm sure some people have to get used to the no laugh track. I like her self deprecating comedic style. (who doesn't)
I even liked the openning scene with the hot dog line cutter.
Alec Baldwin? I'm glad he's doing sketch comedy, he should do more of it. And, I liked the Black writer.

Studio 60 is OK but Matthew perry is getting on my nerves. Maybe it was just this week's episode with the bat and the boot.

Normally I loooooove rachel dratch, but in this her acting was over the top. She's better on stage or in sketch comedy, and I think she might be good in a film comedy. but for this comedy/faux reality format, she didn't work.

Alec Baldwin... he is so good, it's pains me that he's even doing this tv show. He's diluting his goodness with a damn sitcom. oh well...

Uhm, Tina "scarface" Fey is wack. Not only is she not a good actor, but as someone else said before me, her writing for SNL is what has made the show a sucktabulous horror. Really, even during the lame years SNL was always "occasionally" funny, but since Tina Fey, all you see is a bunch of skits where men put on wigs and dresses and act "craaaazy". Hopefully this lady's 15 minutes are up with this lame show.

It sucked. I was looking forward to something snarky but that never happened. Also, the soundtrack was so hokey and distracting that I wouldn't have enjoyed the show even if the writing were strong.

The show wasn't the best thing ever, but Tina Fey summed that up when she said, "It's not HBO, it's TV." Because of its pedigree, I doubt the network will cancel it in 6, but I wish it were better.

I can't believe you guys liked this show! I was hoping for something good, but they must have focus-grouped this thing to death. It had absolutely nothing that would convince me it will last more than six episodes. Sorry, but this one was brain-dead on arrival.

Totally like 30 Rock better than Studio 60. Watched 10 minutes of S60 and thought why am i wasting my time. I liked the whole feel of 30 Rock--felt more like a BBC production. Never understood why people thought Tina Fey was "cool", since SNL has basically sucked for years, but liked her straightman approach last night. Had really low expections, but felt myself liking it from the very start. Tracy Morgan was awesome.

Thanks Smiley for clearing something up for me: these kind of shows never really interested me, and now I know why!

Saw the show as well. I thought it was good, laughed out loud a few times. If Tina Fey was an "actress", it would have ruined the whole thing because that would not have played well off Alec Baldwin's character, who is so swarmy you'd think he bleeds Brylcreem and Scotch. Certainly a lot more enjoyable than Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, which is just like the West Wing, except it's set in a TV studio. Just a whole lot of people walking and talking. Talking and walking. Working on laptops and then more walking and talking.

saw the show, I was not very entertained. and I have to say, as much as I think tina fay is cool and all, I don't think she's an actress. she should stick to behind-the-scenes work. tracey morgan was funny though. if he had his own show with this kind of writing, this would be a strong show.
