Human Giant Hits MTV

Looks like Aziz Ansari has transitioned from blogs to television, and we couldn't be more psyched for him! Along with Rob Huebel and Paul Scheer, Ansari is one third of the Human Giant team. The series will air on MTV in early 2007. Jason Woliner will direct and produce. We can't wait!

From Reuters:

"MTV said Wednesday it has given the green light to "Human Giant," a sketch comedy series described as a collection of "recklessly hilarious, fast-paced, hard-hitting short films."

First seen online, short clips including "Shutterbugs" and "The Illusionators" have gained a cult following, according to MTV, which added that "Giant" also has gained a large audience in the New York comedy scene through live shows at the underground club Upright Citizens Brigade."

Rob Heubel will ruin Aziz's career. He is consistenly the unfunniest person ever. Even unfunnier than Hitler (since he is the measurement for everything these days).

Oddly enough, his Hitler is AMAZING.

I can't believe these talentless fucks got picked up by MTV. Oh wait, MTV picks up talentless fucks all the time.

im suprised aziz didn't comment on this. he seems to have a rss feed for posts about him..and he always manages to make one "funny, self-deprecating" post in the comments.

MAN, THAT AZIZ! SO INDIE! SO COMEDIAN!

I haven't heard of the others but if they're as un-F'ing-funny as Aziz was on New York Noise.. oh wait, i dont watch MTV. (who does? is it just reality tv show addicts?)
hell, i never post comments ANYWHERE but pointing out the lameness of an unfunny hack seemed necessary.
ethnicity does not = funny. stop trying to use it as a marketing tool.
funny = funny.

Aziz was not funny hosting solo, but I caught a few minutes of one hosted by him and Rob Huebel, and it was unbearable. But then, this is the guy who thought an open letter to Lou Diamond Phillips on their webpage was funny, so that should tell you something.

im laughing my balls off at you dudes . hope ya stay around for a while .
