Saturday Night Live came through this weekend with some "New York City Stories", shorts of the city (a contiuous joke in all of them being how things used to be, ie: "We used to live in this mailbox for $2 a day!"). These were pretty much the only entertaining parts of the show, however.
Our favorite was the CBGB short featuring "Lou Reed" and "Patti Smith", but since that isn't up on YouTube yet, check out the above one featuring "Martin Scorsese" and "Rosie Perez".

I don't even think that was funny. If that was the only entertaining clip of the show, SNL is in trouble.
I feel like I could do better than this and I'm not even very funny.
I thought the Total Recall bit at about 12:45 AM was the best sketch of the night.
I actually wound up finding the CBGB segment depressing in the end.
This clip is no longer available :(
But your fave, for the moment, is up at http://www.brooklynvegan.com/archives/2006/10/cbgb_on_snl_the.html
