FILM: Going to movies can sometimes suck a lot of time and money out of you. Which is why we love film shorts. They cater to our attention span, and in this case - our wallet, too. “Made in NY Shorts,” is a whold bunch of shorts that'll leave you filled up like you'd just seen a feature length.

THEATER: Le Lycanthrope, a “revenge farce with a monster movie groove” is the long-awaited sequel to Le Misanthrope. At the climax of Moliere's play, Alceste, the titular misanthrope, storms off to live in the wilderness away from Parisian Society "where man is arrant wolf to man". Le Lycanthrope picks up on Halloween 1673, with Alceste returning from six years in exile. He claims to be a lycanthrope and has come to get some delicious payback on his decadent enemies. If the comedic gold of the show’s title is any indication, this could be a real scream. - John Del Signore

PARTY: Tonight at the Sleeper party deejays Koga and DRM are joined by Empanadamn on the decks. We don't know any of them, but the party also serves as a Massive Attack afterparty - which sounds a-ok to us.

MUSIC: We didn't realize Veruca Salt was back, but they're playing at the Canal Room tonight. We always liked that song "Seether", and how they named themselves after the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory character.
