With so many bands in this city, there are plenty who drop out each and every day. Call it quits, re-form as another band, move on to something else...you know the drill. This week, Brooklyn band The Fever are bowing out and will play their last show on the high seas. The booze cruise boards at 7pm, shoves off at 8pm and will have you returned safely to the island at 11pm. The Fever will rock the boat (pun!) with old songs, new songs, and cover songs.
A few years back we saw them do a set at Sin-e as "Wolfbait", they played some great covers including R Kelly's Bump n' Grind. So you sort of don't want to miss this show, as they're slated to play as Wolfbait this time as well.

Good riddence. Maybe the bands formed by the former members that come after will be more interesting. This one was just plain boring and the one show I've seen was so bad that the crowd didn't even need to be there because they were so uninterested.

That's too bad. Great band. I like the new album a lot. I listened to the first(ish) one, the one with "Bridge and Tunnel" and "Ladyfingers", daily for like a year. Unbelievable live show. Too bad I suffer from both motion sickness and debilitating substance abuse problems (the confluence of those two maladies can be pretty explosive), otherwise I'd go to the final show.
