Wade Boggs Loves Horse Rides

2006_09_wadeboggs.jpg

If you were near Madison Square Garden earlier today and wondered, "Hey, is that Wade Boggs riding on that police horse?" it was Wade Boggs. The former Yankee was on Cold PIzza, and rode on a horse to sort of re-enact his joyous pony ride after winning the World Series with the Yankees in 1996. Oh, Wade - we hope that you have a horse farm near your home these days.

According to the AP, Boggs has been in town "promoting the end of Johnnie Walker's 'Keep walking 90 feet at a time' responsible drinking campaign which donated $100 to Recording Artists, Actors, and Athletes Against Drunk Driving every time a Yankee player drew a walk at Yankee stadium throughout the 2006 baseball season." Not only did he get to ride on a police horse, he got to wear an MTA subday conductor's hat on a train!

What a homo...why do these characters always try to relive the glory days? Let it go and move forward.

Yeah....sure....if that is, indeed, Waaaaaade Booooggs!

Is there really a sports show called "Cold Pizza"? How fucking tiresome.
