Does it really matter if parents send their kids a few minutes late to school from time to time? The morning is a rush as it is to begin with and now parents have to waste time in "detention".

From my experience I learned never to start rushing to just be "on time". I wouldn't come late on purpose, but I'm not going to rush my butt off.
