<description>&lt;p&gt;I have to say, the nextfest was the biggest waste of money I&apos;ve seen yet.  If going to see 5+ year old technology and innovations is your idea of cutting edge, start reading.  Not only was the whole thing a giant advertisement for car and computer companies, but most of the exhibits were almost trivial in their importance...for example, a hydrogen concept car that was produced by GM more than 5 years ago, pre-fab housing that was all the rage in the late 90&apos;s (and is now a commercial reality).  The only redeeming factor was actually seeing some of the new turbine wind generators, but even that was more interesting to read about...  Thankfully, I didn&apos;t have to pay full price.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
