Only one point is offered for waterless urinals toward USGBC LEED Certification.
7 WTC had enough points to make a Silver rating without going waterless and not enough to attempt a Gold, hence no reason to spend on waterless.
2 floors every 3 weeks is not that bad for a structure as complicated as BOA's.... it's not a concrete-slop residential building!
Good job Tishman BOA Team !

i work across the street from the building and it will take a long time to build. they're going at a rate of ~2 floors every 3 weeks. they're on 15 or so now, and i would assume they're trying for at least 60, so thats at least a year for the rest of the structure....

www.usgbc.org for more info on what qualifies as a LEED-certified building. waterless urinals are not a requirement, but a potential credit earned toward LEED-certification. green is good.

That building is taking forever to build. Plus I was in WTC 7 the other day, and it has the seal of a green building, but has water in it's urinals. I thought to be green you had to have waterless urinals?
