Today marks the start of the 2nd annual New York Gypsy Festival. The 2-week "Fiesta Romani" will run from September 24th and October 8th. Once again, the festival will offer a broad perspective on various styles of gypsy music and dance.
Last year Gogol Bordello performed, unfortunately this year they won't be - but Eugene Hutz (pictured, from the performance last year) will be hosting and deejaying at one of the events (Sunday, Oct. 8th, 9pm. Tickets here. The full schedule, after the jump...
