Brooklyn in Color, at the Atlantic Avenue Subway Station

2006_09_bic1.jpgThanks to the Internet, we've enjoyed and admired the photographs of Ranjit Bhatnagar for a while now, but now even more people will be able to see his pictures. He has a series of photographs, called Brooklyn in Color, on display in lightboxes at the Atlantic Avenue subway station. Ranjit has a Flickr set of photos that show the display in situ, and it looks like a much-needed splash of color for commuters.

The MTA's Arts for Transit Program has two temporary art programs where artists may be selected to participate - the Transit Poster Program and the Lightbox Project. If you're interested in learning how to submit your work, check this out.
