I used to live in Great Kills back in the 80s & 90s. As a kid growing up I remember some story back in the 90s of the city dumping the remains of a old building that was partially radioactive in the dump, and then realized it after the fact. I heard stories of men in white space suits combing through peoples backyards testing for radiation levels. Never know what happened of it though.

We're just weeding out the weak over here so that when the nuclear apocalypse comes, it will just be Staten Islanders and the cockroaches left to repopulate the earth.

If you have to pay to get in and out of Staten Island by car, it's not worth it.

Why is that everytime there is a story about Staten Island it's bad? Firefighter hits guys with steel chair, somebody shoots someone else, WuTang have a new album, it's glowing green! It's getting ridiculous! We have some good points too, like...um...I'm sure theres something. Maybe the Hungry Cabbie can eat out Staten Island, though it might not be in his best interest he might get radiation poisoning.
