- Augieland laments about the lack of a liquor license for the Blind Tiger, which recently moved to new digs. "According to a letter Eater published from the Blind Tiger, the biggest reason they have been given by the license board for not having their liquor license approved for their new place in our neighborhood is a letter the State Liquor Authority received from our Assemblywoman Deborah Glick." They're currently serving fantastic coffee and comfy pub-style food (the chili rocks and is served with slab-bacon-studded cornbread), so please support them by stopping by. You can also voice your complaints and do your part to help them get settled in properly, license and all. Augieland suggests: 1) sign the petition; 2) call Councilwoman Deborah Glick's office (212 674-5153); 3) email (glickd@assembly.state.ny.us), and 4) write (853 Broadway Suite 2120 New York, NY 10003). We don't want them to go the route of E.U. now, do we?
