THEATER: Beastie Boy Adrock (who turns 40 next month!) was but a wee homey when his father, Israel Horovitz, penned his hit play “Line” 32 years ago. That dark comedy is the longest-running play in off-off-Broadway history. It’s about five people stuck on line and their shameless machinations to get to the front. The theater’s website boasts that the play has been performed in 25 countries and split the sides of 100,000 theatergoers. Who will be 100,001? - John Del Signore

WALK: Join Jake Dobkin from Streetsy.com and The Graffiti Research Lab, and uh, Gothamist, for a graffiti walking tour and street party in Williamsburg. This will NOT be a curated art walk, this WILL be a mob of dangerous people walking down the graffiti-laden streets of Billyburg talking, listening to Eazy-E and having a blast. THEATER: Iphigenia Crash Lands and Falls on the Neon Shell that was once her Heart (A Rave Fable). In Greek mythology, Iphigenia is the daughter of Agamemnon, who sacrificed her to the gods so that his fleet could sail to Troy. In this multimedia interpretation, Iphigenia is the daughter of a Latin American dictator intent on killing her to reap political capital from the “tragedy”. To escape her fate, she embarks on an Alice-in-Wonderland-style trip through the dark fringes of society to reach a rave outside town. “Modern” updates of classics can often collapse under their own imposed weight, but this production’s use of video to skewer mass media sounds far out. - John Del Signore

"The 24 Hour Roadtrip is a one-day long journey through the 5 boroughs of NYC. It functions much like a roadtrip in the traditional sense -- lots of pulling over to visit quirky roadside attractions, some late night driving, and caffeine-fueled conversations about the state of the world -- except that it's all within New York, so we'll have no car and are taking public transportation."

THEATER: Eric Davis has killed ‘em all over town with his pompous alter ego, Red Bastard (www.redbastard.com), a James Lipton-esque snob who wears a red unitard stuffed with inflated self-worth and balloons. (You have one more chance to yuk it up with Red Bastard on September 21 at the Brick Theater’s New York Clown Festival.) Davis’s other festival entry, “Absence of Magic”, closes today. Described as a “quest to find the Glove of Never Ending Awesomeness” it is not in any way reminiscent of John Wayne Gacy, which is a major selling point. - John Del Signore
