On the Plate: Upcoming Food and Wine Events

September 16: Waldemar and Nadia at Telepan - Late Summer Cheeses
Join cheese experts Waldemar and Nadia as they highlight late summer cheeses, including the aged goat and sheep's milk cheeses that were made from the first milkings of the season. They will be paired with wine from Telepan's cellar, selected by sommelier Aaron Von Rock. 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., $65 per person, all inclusive. Space is limited and reservations are required. September 17: Atlantic Antic
It's the 32nd annual Atlantic Antic, Brooklyns largest street fair featuring food galore, including treats from Sahadi's, Six Point Atlantic Antic Amber Ale from Waterfront Ale House, live music, and more. 10am-6pm, Atlantic Avenue between Hicks Street and Fourth Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn, rain or shine.

September 19: Harvest in the Square
Taste over 50 of Union Square's finest restaurants, including Fleur de Sel, Blue Smoke, and Eleven Madison Park, as they join together at this annual tasting event to benefit the Union Square Partnership’s Capital Campaign for the Completion of Union Square Park. The event is held in Union Square Park, rain or shine. Advance tickets are $85.00; day of event $95.00. Tickets available online.
