#10 - I agree with you about celebrities and how they shouldn't be treated specially, but JK Rowling is not in the "idiot" category. She is not in the league of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, et al. She does not strike me as a diva but as a down to earth woman who has had deserving success.

What's with the special treatment stars get? If I tried getting on a plane with a book/manuscript--finished or unnfinished-- and I was told no, that would've been the end of the discussion. It's sickening. We need to stop giving preferential treatment to these idiots and start treating them like any other Joe. Like last week, I was at a fashion/pop concert and Drea DeMateo was taping a segment for the televised version and she kept messing up her lines and laughing. Everyone in Radio City started booing and yelling for her to stop boozing it up. That made me feel good because that's the way "stars" should be treated.

Why would TSA want to make her check a manuscript? I paper now forbidden? Of course none of this would be a problem if she just made a copy of the manuscript. Come on, J.K. you're a billionaire. Charter your own jet, or scan the damn thing and email it to yourself or put it on a flash drive.

I thought the reason there was no subway or Airtrain to LGA was because of NIMBYism in Queens. And the TSA isn't taking orders from the British consulate. Buy a clue.
