p.s. just talkin about the Fentanyl Patch. I have used alot of painkillers in the past 2 years, but I have never tried Heroin before and I won't. Not trying to tell any one to try anything...just lettin you guys know what happened to me.

I tried the patch for the first time three days ago...wow. I can understand how it could be dangerous, but I have never felt so content with life before. On the 3rd night, I did open the package and finish the stuff off. I thought I might die. I couldnt feel my heart beating, or even find a pulse...yet there was nothing I could do about it at the time. I was paralyzed in paradise. I guess the point of my story is, if your gonna try this stuff, just use the drug how it is intended...I guess?

You don't know anything about being a Heroin addict! Addict doesn't care where his money is going, as long as they got their smack. And injection, when properly done... is the most hygienic way to use substances (Check Lancet- Magazine) And if you haven't already guessed it, i am a heroine addict allthought being in methadine program about 5 1/2 years i still miss heroine, i see dreams about heroin! You know, you can type and say anything about everything, but how to cure someone if he even doesn't want to be cured, only proper way for treatment should not be in methadon, bubrenorphin etc. Addicts should get their opiates from their personal doctor, including clean syringes!

Wow - tough crowd. I feel terrible that somebody is in a bad situation in the first place (addiction) that gets horrifically worse. Nobody signs on for that - even somebody with the (heaven forbid!) poor judgment to try heroin in the first place. Good thing nobody on this thread has ever shown poor judgment before. I'm sure I'll get flamed, but if you've ever tried any illegal substance ever (yes, that includes marijuana), please shut the fuck up.

crybaby, fentanyl is a CII drug, meaning that it is available for prescription but that it has a high risk for diversion. It is popularly used for the treatment of post-operative pain, and chronic pain. patients do not need to meet any "specific" criteria other than their doctors good judgment. fentanyl has been used, safely, for the treatment of pain for many years. its only when it gets into the hands of addicts that it presents a problem. ask any person with chronic pain who has used the fentanyl patch, it is a true life altering product.

you might recall fentanyl was what russian police pumped (in gas form) into a theatre to free hostages a couple years ago. it has become a popular street drug in some cities because its produced in candy form for cancer patients - a lot like a lollipop - for about $20 this can be crushed and snorted for a very powerful, and easily incapacitating high. the stuff is very dangerous. dotors are not allowed to prescribe it unless their patients' conditions meet certain criteria.

Snorted, injected, taking it in the ass, whatever. To support the habit you're probably contributing to a whole host of criminal activities. So, no you're not going to find a whole lot of sympathy round here. All of us have problems with life one way or another, but that isn't a good excuse for doing the stuff. some people here don't seem to realize that being a drug addict is not always a choice. many have mental and social problems to begin with, hence the drug addiction. a lot of it is self medication. yes, they are stupid, yes they are selfish. but they do have severe mental problems, for the most part. i should know. i used to work with them.

How can they make Fentanyl? I think they mean opening up the patches and mixing the fentanyl with heroin. Just my experience with the fentanyl patch, if they're making them in some drug den, that's news to me. Gotta be some sophisticated lab they got.
