Kevin made a great point. The politics involoved in 9/11 disgusts me. Come the sixth anniversary of 9/11 will most likely be the same as this year.

Note the conspicuous absence of Schumer and HRC from the photo op. They were at the memorial but they're not pictured? This event is supposed to transcend politics; I have no interest in watching a bunch of Republicans wallowing in our artificially prolonged grief.

Kevin Walsh: Good point. However, I don't get the impression that they want you to remember. I think they are doing this so that you don't find out what really went wrong that day. Notice in New York when they celebrate the Twin Towers, they don't memorialize the Pentagon. There was no plane that hit the Pentagon as they told us. How did the government know that a third plane was headed for the White House? Why is it that one plane was coincidentally forced out of the sky. Why is it that the victims were dumped in a landfill instead of being given to their families for burial. Very few families received remains. Something is rotten in Denmark.

Every year it's the same. The bagpipes. The reading of the names, and the laying of the wreaths. It's five years on. It's time to build a memorial, rebuild the ground zero area, and get on with things. That would be the best tribute possible to the people who died and those who tried to rescue them. All this wallowing, year after year, does no one any good.
