Yesterday Rolling Stone let everyone (well, anyone that still reads Rolling Stone) know the The Raconteurs would be playing a show at the Soho Prada Store last night. Ah, fashion rocks, indeed.
So it actually happened, as evidenced by the photo above...did anyone go check it out? Was the audience any more receptive to the band than when they were the house band at the VMA's? One girl confused them with The White Stripes, so we're guessing not.
Previously: We sit down at Scratcher Bar for some drinks with Raconteur Brendan Benson.

ACTUALLY the caption for the photo is "the white stripe" referring to jack white. doyyytownnnn
I was there. Sort of. My girlfriend told me to meet her outside to see what it was like. The music was loud and clear so people on the street could hear the full show and see celebrities milling about. The bouncer was very cool. He let us stand by the door and he was rocking out with us. There were 4 bona fide Raconteurs/Stripes/Greenhornes/Benson/Blanche fans and only 2 of us came by deliberately. All in all, a good time.
