"Bootyful Day" on Eastern Parkway, by Jack Cracker. Lots more great Carib Day shots at Flickr. Also good ones at 423 Smith.

In addition to the bus flip today, early this morning (around 2am) my friend was on a Fung Wah bus coming back from Boston that caught on fire. Nobody was injured so I guess that's why it didn't make the news but still...just plan ahead and pay the damn $50 and go by Jetblue.
When I drive back home to Brooklyn from Boston, I'll usually hover between 80-95mph. At that speed range, I have had Fung Wah buses pass me. Yeah, I know I shouldn't be driving at that speed but there is a huge difference when a sports car drives at that speed and a bus.
A link to Jack Cracker's Flickr page would be nice. I'd like to see more of his pics.
Fung Wah costs $15.00 each way. Not $10.00. I used it this weekend also. My experience up was rather good. Nice bus. Leisurely pace. Way back though was a bit crazy. Departed boston about 7:25 p.m. The driver made the 3 hr and 55 min trip (according to Mapquest) in about 3 hr and 20 min. We were definitely passing cars and other bus lines. Funny this article came up 'cause I was wondering if this was normal or safe myself and surprised they haven't been called out for speeding before. Driver was doing at least 70-75 mph at times.
that nikola guy is an excellent photographer, but I really hate the motherf'er crowd. it's much worse than hipsters, because the hipster aesthetic is generally based on minimal effort. these people make concious efforts for every coke-addled minutiae of their being.
"Hipster aesthetic, minimal effort?!"
Ha!
it's not $50 roundtrip to boston on jetblue.
