-- Ralph "Bucky" Phillips has been on the run upstate since April, when he broke out of jail. Locals have been making "Run, Bucky, Run" t-shirts-- but the story got a whole lot less funny on Thursday night, when Phillips allegedly shot two state troopers with a high powered rifle.

Phillips also shot and wounded another state trooper a few months ago, near Elmira. That trooper, I think, is recovered and back on the job. So, that makes 3 troopers he's shot-and there is no doubt, that he is the one who shot the cops the other night.

I haven't, and don't, find this man amusing. The tshirts, the "Bucky Burgers" (to go) aren't funny. This idiot is dangerous, plus, he is causing the state to spend quite a lot of money, in overtime for troopers-thats our tax money being spent. It could be spent on new cars, bullet proof vests, and advanced training for the troopers, not in roadblocks all over Chautauqua County.

Its claimed that he is sticking around Western NY because he wants to see his daughter and grandchildren. Tell me, when he was getting himself thrown in jail for 22 of his 44 years on earth, was he concerned then, about staying close to family? Why would his family be so concerned about such a loser, to give him food, shelter, transportation, and clothing, when all his adult life, he's not cared about them enough to keep his ass out of jail, and be a father? I say, they ought to turn him in the next time he shows his face at their door, and collect the reward money. At least then, he'll have done something productive for his family, by providing for thier future.

BTW, Bucky...hunting season is fast approaching. Care to meet up with some hunter who's out for more than a 10 point, who has either a bow or a shotgun?
