the New Haven does suck but the Harlem and Hudson Lines are great. Luckily I'm on the Hudson line.

metro north sucks

i have problems with metro north all the time. i take it to westport, ct. briefly: - stranded in gct several times with 40,000 (no, really, not kidding) other people when the wires fell down and there was no service to ct during the evening rush hour. - train broke down in norwalk once, had to take a shuttle bus from norwalk to stamford to catch the local to gct - wet leaves on the track cause delays - if it's too hot the wires melt and cause delays the best line is the harlem line with the fancy new cars. never had a problem with that one. rode it every day for 2 yrs. oh lord, do i hate metro north though.

I take Metro North all the time (parents live in New Haven). I have, seriously, never once had a big problem with that train. They're just more efficient, for whatever reason.

Metro North had a breakdown on Sunday night. A New Haven to GCT train stopped in Bridgeport with brake problems. Never heard if it was rain related.

What's up with the LIRR and all their problems lately? Metro-North has been great this month. On time arriving at GCT and my home station just about everyday.

i think that the people who are actually interested in this news item are either stuck on the train or stuck in the crowd.. ha!
