The firefighters are NYC's Bravest as well as NYC's Finest! Firefighting has got to be one of, if not the most, dangerous jobs in NYC. Incidentally, the news just reported that a second firefighter died from this fire. Tragic.

yes, let's thank them as 9/11 approaches. don't forget to remove your panties and give them all that wet wet bush, they deserve it. that's the best way to thank these brave men and some women. they sure pack them warehouses in williamsburg high and tight, too.

very sad – with the anniversary of 9/11 on the horizon, it's a good time to be reminded that these guys were the real heroes... the ones going in when everyone else was going out. (drives me a little nuts how some people think that everyone associated with that day is a "hero". i'm sorry but there's nothing heroic about sitting at your desk when a plane happens to fly through the window.)
