Bronx Snob, I do follow your logic about the other boroughs being the outer boroughs to the Bronx. BUT, I just looked at my list of columns and I've actually written one more post about The Bronx than Queens. You can click on "Dave Freedenberg" and then click on "entries" under my picture to see a list of columns I've written. I love The Bronx. Come on. I'm a Yankee fan. There's no SI posts because it's a direct reflection of where my fares take me. I've never gone to SI on a fare. I have gotten some tips from people I'm taking to South Ferry though. I just have to do the exploring on my own dime.

Does the Hungry Cabbie ever eat anywhere other than Brooklyn and Queens? Dude, there are 5 boroughs! I guess if your manhattan centric -- that makes 4 outer boroughs. (You could make a case that since the Bronx is the only borough on the mainland, that the other boroughs are the outer boroughs.) C'mon show the Bronx and Shaolin some love!
