Does anybody have any info about an injured biker on the Roosevelt Island bridge yesterday? I drove over about 4:30, and the NYFD was there with an ambulance attending to a guy. I didn't get a great look, other than to see the cyclist was sitting up against the bridge, which certainly beats many alternatives.
I was afraid to ride a bike- then I found the kick scooter (an adult size, xootr.com) until the city figures out how to keep people safe- this is my personal solution....
