I've been to Colson twice now (once for the Bastille Day party pre-opening), and was impressed both times. Great coffee and unbelieveably good pastries. It's small, but with a good vibe. I'm worried about its ability to thrive on that corner too, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Yep, it was the gas that couldn't get turned on, I felt bad for them. The location isn't bad though, with traffic from people coming and going from the Y, and Pacific Tanning, I guess... At least that horrid bodega that was in that location is gone. I swear, I was convinced that it was either a front for El Quaida or the mob.
