um, why is it that the death of one bicycle messenger and the critical wounding of another are an "extra, extra" item while the deaths of a doctor/cyclist and an aspiring young filmmaker/cyclists a stand alone item? Not to denigrate the tragic loss of the latter, can we respect the fact that all of these people had the same fundamental value? The cyclist who was hit in williamsburg and is in critical condition now is a very old friend of mine. People call him bronx john and he is hilarious. prayers go out to you, john, get well soon.
