Flashback: Big Pimpin' with Phish

A couple of years ago Phish played one of their last shows, at Coney Island's Keyspan Park. Regretably we missed the shows. Thanks to YouTube we can now see a pretty good video of the band perform with Jay-Z. While Pitchfork only gave the performance 1.5 stars, we still think it's pretty amazing.

If Phish were to come back they'd probably pair up with Gnarls Barkley and play "Crazy".

I was selling beer at that concert. What the video doesn't show is that when JayZ came out he told the crowd that if they're hiding any weed, now's the time to SPARK IT.

So a huge puff of smoke went up from the crowd. I've never seen anything like it. That's what all that smoke is during the show. And that's what he's referring to between songs when he says,"I foundt it."

I was there. It was a very fun show and such a great place to have it. We were all so surprised to see Jay Z come out like that. And amazing to see him own that crowd.
