MOVIE: Netflix Rolling Roadshow presents The Warriors. Watch the local turf wars play out on a big screen in Coney Island. Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis. And for some reason, Lisa Loeb is hosting this and there will be a Q&A following the movie.

8:30pm // Asser Levy Park Amphitheater [Coney Island between Sea Breeze and Ocean at 2nd St, Brooklyn] // Free

Meanwhile, over at another free outdoor movie, catch the dark teen romance Cruel Intentions, and watch the real life sparks fly between Ryan Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon.

8:30PM // Hudson River Park - Pier 54 [Hudson River and West 14th St] // Free

THEATER: Rajiv Joseph's Huck and Holden,, which played earlier this year, was a fresh take on the timeworn coming-of-age story; with All This Intimacy, in Second Stage's uptown series, Joseph returns to the theme, in a way, only the main character here -- Ty, a poet -- is going through the process a bit later (as it seems to be for many people these days). Ty (Thomas Sadoski) has three girlfriends, one for every kind of lust: the older woman, the peer, and a student of his, none of which are going to let sleeping dogs lie. The plot sometimes goes overboard with improbability, but it floats, and that's all part of the boisterous fun. - Mallory Jensen

Monday through Saturday 8pm, Saturday 2pm through August 12 // McGinn/Cazale Theatre [2162 Broadway, 4th fl] // Buy tickets here

READING: Summer is in full swing and so is Cringe, the awesome reading series at Freddy's Back Room in Brooklyn where funny, witty people take to the stage and read from their embarrassing teenage journals. One of Cringe's founders Sarah Brown, even got a mention in a recent Newsweek article about the phenomenon, although since New Yorkers always think this is the center of the universe, we were piqued to see Cringe's awesomeness portrayed as a spin-off. Show up early to get a seat at the ever-crowded event - Nightline is even going to be there, filming. - Krissa Corbett Cavouras

8:30 PM // Freddy's Back Room [Dean Street & 6th Ave in Brooklyn] // Free

PARTY: Those LVHRD kids think up the craziest things. Tonight they set sail on the high seas to an island unknown (Coney? Staten?) There's a dress code too, they want you to blend in with New York's transient summer population...the tourists! As usual, the meeting place is secret until you get the text. You may need an invite, so if you didn't get one or you aren't a member, just dress like a pirate and take over controls of the ship!

6:45pm // ?? // $10

MUSIC: Miss out on Sleater Kinney tickets? Be rocked a bit more gently by Jens Lekman, who will likely draw a packed house tonight at Soundfix. If you missed him at Bowery recently, be sure to head over to this free show.
