I also saw the "I heart Lebanon" stickers on Avenue A. And there have been several demonstrations (i.e. at Union Square, the Israeli consulate). About Blah's comment, this article, which was published in Israel's Haaretz and written by a professor at Tel Aviv University, includes some brutal facts that reveal that this is not as simple as Blah would like it to seem (i.e. Israel's invasion and bombing of Lebanon in 1982, etc.) Article here: http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/742257.html

I saw "I [heart] Beirut" stickers all along the West Side of 1st Ave. in the East Village.
