I love the Project Runway 3 Show. Project Runway 2 seems more spicier than Project Runway 3 which I think is due to the contestants themselves. America's Next Top Model is a show I watched only when there is really nothing much else to watch and feeling desperate. The Apprentice is a better show for sure.

Project Runway 3 is definitely more interesting with less bullshit than 'The Apprentice' and even the 'America's Next Top Model' !

I love Michael!! he thinks so much for his designs, and always comes out on top. Maybe its a good thing that he isn't so exposed, then maybe his process would be thrown off.

GO MICHAEL KNIGHT!!!

I find the cameraderie that has developed so early between Laura and Michael rather fascinating, since they seem to be on the surface at least so different. She chose him to be her partner in the Miss USA ep (and she picked first, so he was really her choice). When she is having a spat with Keith over the sewing machines, she yells "I'm just looking out for my man!" (referring to Michael). I sure hope he is not the one kicked off, since I want to see more of him, and him and Laura.

Almost certainly Angela was kept around so we can hate her a bit more, along with Vincent, before she finally gets tossed, because there's no way her dress was better than Katherine's. Angela doesn't have a prayer of winning, though -- "no style!" ouch! -- so don't worry. Macaroni art to come!

As for Katherine: like Angela, this was the second time she was on the chopping block, and she was saved last time by Malan's willingness to take responsibility for a disastrous design and execution. And while I liked her as a person, and certainly couldn't do any better myself, she just didn't have the chops to keep up with the competitive, mature, established group of designers this season. I think she'll be great in about five years, and I'm sad to see her go, but she wasn't going to win.

And I like Laura! She may be rich and a bit snooty, but her designs have been consistently top-notch and well-constructed.

And what's up with never seeing Michael? He's been sending cool stuff down the runway! I guess at this stage, there are too many designers to cover everyone, and they want to concentrate on the best and worst until the pack narrows a bit...

If you check Bravo's PR message boards and the comments section in the bloggingprojectrunway blog, many, many other viewers are also wondering why Michael has gotten no screen time whatsoever. Some conspiracy theorists say that Michael must therefore be the one asked to leave in the next episode. But others remind that Daniel V. also got little screen time in the very early episodes of Season 2.

Regardless, Michael has been surprising! In the Season 3 audition episode, he seemed like he designed Video Ho outfits, but Chloe stuck up for him. His outfit in the last episode was so well constructed and flattering. Not costumey at all.

Laura fascinates me, and I admire her immensely. Did you know she was pregnant with her 6th kid during the taping of season 3 (again, conspiracy theorists say that she is the one to get booted for not revealing her condition or something)? Yes, she has a very specific design point of view, but so do a lot of the other designers (Santino, Scarlett, Wendy Pepper (ha)).

(I think it would be great if there was a subplot where Laura and Michael become really good friends.)

Overall, it is very nice to see that the designers seem to have more skill and point of view as opposed to past seasons. They seem more professional.

Angela definitely needs to go. She can't even sketch! I didn't think it was right that she stayed while the person who made a sketch that was picked by Miss America got kicked out.
The producers have final say in who stays and who goes, so I think they wanted to keep her because she makes for good TV.

Lesson to Project Runway participants present and future: You want to stay on the show? Fix your hem lines!!!!! There is nothing that peeves Michael K, Nina G and Vera W more than an unfinished hem (dead giveaway that you're not "detail minded"). Clearly Angela and Vincent are being kept on for their mariginal entertainment value as irritants to the others. Their time will come...hopefully soon! I def. feel that the level of designers this time around has been kicked up a notch. They are more mature. In season 2 it was much easier to suss out the design leaders of the pack early on. That being said, Laura keeps designing for herself (aka the Cruella de Ville collection). Would love to see what she might have done with the sasha Cohen challenge!

And Yes! That's right, Tim N. Tim Gunn *is* (fashion) god who walks as (well-dressed) man.

Outside calls, maybe?

And the photoshop issue seems to be much ado about nothing; the "sketches" apparently weren't labled as original designs, but research.

Does anyone know anything about this Laura lady? She seems to have very expensive taste, but also seems to have the money to back it up. I know she's an architect, but I wonder what her husband does. It's takes a lot of cash to raise five kids in the city. She reminds me of Cruella De Vil, but even skinnier.
