blueberries make my shit blue! seriously, the best season is blackberry season. Those blackberries are awesome. Too bad they are only available for a week.

My favorite uses are pretty much the ones you've mentioned, especially pancakes and salads, but I'm thinking of trying the recipe for blueberry risotto in The Silver Spoon cookbook -- the comment above about blueberry pasta is very encouraging!

Freeze two bananas and the blueberries. Mix the bananas, a handful of the frozen blueberries, a dash of vanilla, and a little bit of of vanilla soymilk in a food processor for a heathful, ice cream-like frosty treat.

Blueberries make the ultimate at-work-snack. Also, when watching calories, blueberries tossed into some cottage cheese is a surprisingly satisfying lunch.

All year long, I look forward to blueberry season in July/August. I enjoy blueberries with whipped cream and angel food cake.

i found a recipe in a cookbook by classic NYC foodwriter Roy Andries de Groot for blueberry pasta i made it (with a few of my own tweaks) and it was DELICIOUS weird, but very, very yummy! a total dinner part hit if ever there was one

I crush them a little bit to make them juicy, then I add them to Greek style yogurt. Yuummm.

i LOVE blueberry season! my fav is to make a blueberry buckle...kind of like a coffee cake. it's something i can grab for a quick breakfast in the morning or top with vanilla ice cream for dessert in the evening. i also like to eat them just all on their own.
