There's really no reason to feel sorry for Christie Brinkley. She's richer and more beautiful than about 99.999% of the human population. But having the Post reveal that you're getting divorced from your fourth husband because he's infatuated with a 19 year old girl, well, that hits Gothamist's sympathy button. And heck, we've seen the video for "Uptown Girl" so many times, we'd expect her to pull up at a gas station in about ten minutes. The Post reports that architect Peter Cook offered Diana Bianchi a job at his firm, after meeting her at a Southampton Village toy store while "shopping for his children." Jeez! He "wrote her love notes and showered her with cash," and Bianchi's stepfather unsuccessfully tried to intervene. And then Brinkley found out about her husband was dating Bianchi by going through his emails.

There is obviously something wrong with Christie Brinkley. She continues to committ to men that aren't very mature. That is one of the problems "pretty" woman have. They generally do not have to work hard to get the attention of a man. The problem, therefore, is that the pretty girl doesn't get to practice her game; the cat and mouse game. She hasn't practiced giving a man a challenge. The "pretty" woman always turns out to be the quickest trick for a man. She always wonders why she can't hold onto a man. Men like to concur things, even woman. They get bored with easy. Christie has got to be easy.
Why are they so bored with her? I guess beauty and money and a nice ass aren't everything.
I wonder how long it will take before Alexa Ray Joel starts dating an old geezer, since her dad & stepdad have both hooked up with women close to Alexa's age.
I believe that can make sense for older couples with children, property, mutual investments, etc., to marry. Mainly since they have so much invested in each other. But at that point you probably should commit rather than have an affair with a teenager right under everyone's nose. What a slimy, arrogant dirty old perv douche bag. In the Post article he seems to have no regard for the feelings of his own family or the feelings of the 19 yr. old's family.
And MH, how can you speculate that there is "something wrong with Christie Brinkley?" And "She doesn't know how to play the game of cat & mouse because she's pretty...?" It's hard to respond to that. I'm not sure I know which "game she's not practicing" & how her looks affect that...hmmm. (Maybe being clueless about "the game" is why I'm single...by choice. :D ) Do you know her personally? I don't, but I WILL speculate that she certainly doesn't deserve this treatment - she must be destroyed. And even if she is some kind of monster to be married to - which she doesn't SEEM like, just divorce her in a respectable manner! Try to spare your wife & kids discovering your disgusting behavior & being publicly humiliated. I am also inclined to believe that she is not a monster because they had already been together 10 years - sounds like he's a insensitive douchebag in the midst of a mid-life crisis. And a "beautiful" 19 yr. old willingly going around with an older married father? She's a real ass, too. She probably looks at him & thinks: "ka-ching!"

In reality both Christe and Diana have been hurt by the careless actions of a 47 year old immature man. In general relationships is a two way street and Diana, an intellegent woman, is equally responsible for her choice to accept the car and a job that she was not qualified for. If all she saw was money then her nievity is to blame. She has a bright future and hopefully her error in judgment will not lead her astray. As for Christie, she is an experienced women with many credentials intellectually and physically and she has earned her respect from the public. She is a person with personal problems just like every women in the world. Peter Cook needs to grow up because it was very bold of him to bring her in as an asisstant. "what were you thinking?" Do it like normal men and hang out with your "extramarital" affairs soemwhere else. Don't taint the office with your affairs.
And GOOD JOB DAD! I would have done the same thing and that is the difference between a good parent and a standby parent.
