Looks like Senor Swanky's is trying to fool some tourists into checking out their restaurant. If you search for La Esquina on Citysearch (the taco bar on Lafayette with the secret basement room frequented by Scarlett Johansson and Josh Harnett), Senor Swanky's ad comes up on the bottom of the page. Swanky's is known for many things (drunken frat boys propositioning ladies on Laguardia Street, for instance), but celebrity sightings definitely isn't one of them.

In defense of the SeƱor, my brother once saw and spoke with Sam Rockwell (of "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" and "Matchstick Men") while he was sipping a marg in the Swanky outdoor seating. The ad didn't specify the grade of celebrity, and they probably drafted it immediately after that day. But still.
I go to Senor Swanky's on a regular basis solely based on the name of the place. It makes me feel all swanky inside.
i'm definitely not proud to know this, but senor swanky's has always had that "celebrity hangout" tag in its name.
Do reality TV stars count? I once saw that girl from Fox marrying millionaire show by the bar once, or was she from the Bachelor?
There should be a place where reality TV stars can eat/drink for free...
senor swanky's has always had photos on the walls featuring swanky enjoying margaritas with various top celebrities. I always liked swankys as long as I sit outside. Tourists can be assured that top celebrities eat there every day.
plus.. how is la esquina "secret" anymore.. they have neon signs for christ's sake!
Um... your editors must have been sleeping this week. Josh Hartnett may hang out there, but there is no such celebrity as "Josh Harnett"
