Iraqi Dirt Chick,

NOTHING makes me happier than to know that you have my cuz' jazz violin album over there in Iraq. I listen to it during rush hour to chill me out. I'm glad that the calming effect made it over there. Maybe if you blast it off the side of a Huey chopper that war would be over.

Anyone else who wants to check it out go to
http://www.aaronweinstein.net
And you can hear him on my theme song on
www.famousfatdave.com

Watermelon kim chi sounds great. We used to do pickled watermelon when I was a pickle man at Guss.

I love your blog. I'm over here in Iraq, and have yet to really visit NYC, but when I do, I'm looking you up! I'm curious about the apple pickles, sounds good, but I've never even heard of pickled apples. Pickles...sigh, the best fresh thing ever. Now, I've got to mention, some entries back, you mentioned korean food. Have you ever had watermelon kimchi? Its awesome and its made similiar to cucumber, its made out of the rind of the watermelon. You should ask the korean restaurants. I love Korean food! I also want to mention, I love your cousin's cd. Thru your link...to amazon and in my mail yesterday, I got Aaron's cd. Its BEAUTIFUL. A cd, that is just so relaxing over here.... please tell him Thank You for making a GREAT CONTRIBUTION to music... I love it!

Papercutninja,

Pickled apples are like salty, less crunchy apples. Maybe not the best things in the world to pickle. That's why I wrote it's something I just get when I want something different. They're worth trying though.
