Meat pies for sale...right next to "Sweeney Todd"...hmmm.

Don't forget Let Them Eat Pie, the Red Hook shopfront for Down Under Bakery... http://www.dubpies.com/ In fact, I believe DUB's Gareth was the first to bring the pie concept to NYC.

For my money the NZ meat pie is a more subtle beast, and yo, WE invented the lamington, maties! Time for an Australasian throwdown?

Bring it on, Kiwi! ;) I haven't tried the DUB pies yet, but I have heard good things. I also do remember seeing them in bars at least 3 years ago -- predating Tuck Shop.

Also, try the sausage rolls. And the Coopers beer.

Four'n twenty pies are less than 30% meat.Tuck shop pies are delicious all beef affairs.I'm gonna go get one now.
