July 7 - 11: Fancy Food Show
Every specialty food you could possibly imagine will be at the Javitz Center this week at the annual Fancy Food show. Sample some of the latest specialty products on the market and attend educational programs and seminars. Javits Center, 655 West 34th Street. $35/person before July 7, $60/person after, so buy your tickets now.

Welcome the new Lower East Side Greenmarket to the neighborhood! Regional farmers will sell seasonal produce every Sunday from 10AM-5PM through November. This week kicks off the market with cooking demonstrations ad live music. 10:00 a.m., Orchard Street between Delancey and Broome.

July 11:Celebrate Flatiron Chefs!
Flatiron area eateries will participate in this fundraiser for the Madison Square Park Conservancy. Taste dishes from 230 Fifth, Parea, the Shake Shack (naturally) and many others. 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Madison Square Park, 23rd Street and Madison Avenue. $100/person; tickets available online.

July 12: Olive Oil Tasting at Agata & Valentina Ristorante
Virgin, extra virgin, filtered, unfiltered? Decode the language of olive oil with Manfredi Barbera, a Sicilian olive oil producer. Taste several varieties in a special olive oil menu from Agata & Valentina Ristorante, 7 pm, $25 per person. 1513 1st Avenue at 79th Street. Call 212.452.0691 for reservations.
