Hmmmm, D. Wright is a heartthrob now? Well that's what happens to anyone (Especially homegrown talent) that plays in New york & suceeds. My advice would be the following. If he doesn't already have a girlfriend find one now! Because it will only lead to him getting into trouble the same way Jeter did a couple of years ago. Find a good woman and leave the "Hoes" in the rear hommie because their the ones that will bring him down . Secondly, The city is just to damn poshy, and pussified for any ballplayer to handle. You all remember what happened to Jeter when he was dating Mariah . That man's johnson was put on display and the media tore him a"New one" quick! So D. Wright needs to be aware of the pitfalls of being the next "Sex symbol" .

I won't tell you exactly where David lives but it is between 40th and 60th street and 2 and 4th Avenue. BTW, he lived in the same exact place last year.

According to my friend who works closely with a number of athletes, mets rookies (i'm not sure about the yankees) are forbidden to live in manhattan, and are strongly encouraged against it even a few years after. (most of them live in the LIC high rises). Apparently they've had too many problems with young players getting a little out of control with manhattan nightlife.

All I know is, last time I went to a Mets game, we sat behind what must have been a little girl's birthday party. About 20 11-year-old girls were all wearing David Wright jerseys (or homemade orange t-shirts with his name and number on them) and screamed everytime he was at bat. If Tiger Beat wanted to do a centerfold, I'm sure it would sell like gangbusters.
