Veselka is a GREAT place for kids. They give out these Wiki Sticks for your kid to keep occupied with while the adults finish eating. I hate that there are flies buzzing around us (even indoors!). That's a big yucky con. We go there pretty often.

Veselka nowadays is a consciouly yuppified place. The food is passable, the the old Vesalka was more of an Eastern European diner. And much more enjoyable.

what's wrong with Veselka? man, i love them and am very excited to be able to swing by on a lazy day and grab some soup and pierogies.... now if only they'd serve the Christmas Borscht all year long...
