I work very close to Bryant Park, but I wore a skirt to work today. Do you think that would eliminate me from getting a Snapple balloon ride?

At first I thought this was something like a hot-air balloon with a basket at the bottom in which people could stand. But judging from one photo, it looks like there is one person hanging upside down by his feet from the bottom of the balloon. I'm confused. Could someone please explain this to me? Just what is going on here?
