I don't feel too happy that these creeps have done what they have done to our sisters, mothers, daughters, and teachers. Hey, this is worse than someone drinking their way to a Bad Neighborhood in a Lost Weekend like the Movie the Lost Weekend. Too much of this crow is happening in the High School System and worse, these creeps will only get younger and there aren't that many Men who want to be a Real Father Figure because they can't get their head separate from their thing anymore and I don't feel too comfortable with the Garbage in my Iowa Backyard, much less hearing about it from New York City because the Guys that these Hollaback Feminists snapped are no joke, creepier than that Creep Milhouse on The Simpsons. I would like to say to the Women at Hollaback that you are doing a Great Service for Society and my word to the Women all over the World is if a Weird Man or a Creepy Boy tries his pervy scurvy over a Good, Honest Woman who's Schooling, Teaching, Working or just Plumb Old Enjoying Her Day Off and he wants to bribe a Date faster than Alabama, just ignore his attention and try to make sure that he is out of society's reach, for goodness sakes.

I'm more interested in things like India's Blank Noise Project and efforts to curtail physical harassement of women. This Hollaback stuff and the emphasis on "pervy" crimes is laudable only to the extent that it really addresses an underlying problem rather than just making people feel like they got their money's worth from the witch hunt du jour.

Hmmmmmm, Well this whole "Flashing thing on the train is amusing at best. I'm not agreeing with it at all, Though somethings puzzle me about these occurrences. [1]Maybe if you ladies weren't so hellbent on dressing to provoke these pervs! I understand you have a right to dress the way you please{and I don't have a problem with it}. You have to take into account that these pervs are lonely desperate souls looking to take advanage of someone they view as "weak". We all know you ladies use your bodies, & the language of it to express your mood(s)for the day that's a normal thing. You have to be aware of your surroundings at all times (Sadly) Don't go getting offended, You all know what I mean by that! Are they going to crack down on the pervs hiding in the parks too? cuz there are a lot of them out there too. As for pervs on the train, I sure wish more women would stop just sitting there trying to ignore perverts and just plain make a scene out of it. the more the creeps are put in fear, the less likely they are to keep doing it. Taking their photo and posting it online isn't enough though. You have to bring those photos to the police. Since so few of these incidents get reported, the polcie don't act. The squeaky wheel gets the oil... Hopefully this little crackdown wasn't just a flash in the pan. A sustained effort to control this problem would be more than welcome.

Kojak's dad - I've confronted a couple of these pervs when I saw them harassing women, but sometimes they start acting all crazy and go ape-shit. What I usually try to do is put myself between the perv and the woman by standing in front of him or something. It's a passive move that usually works; confrontation can sometimes make things worse, though. Another example is a fighting couple where the guy looks like he could get violent. If you just stand there and stare at him, he usually will calm down and realize he's losing it in public, and that nethod is better than saying something usually.

Interesting that you should say that poophead. I was on the train yesterday and I saw this woman, who was extremely hot, bouncing around the platform at 42nd street. With a skimpy dress and a walk that says "I want to bang you". Her T&A were about to pop out of her outfit, risking injury to people passing by. Now if that doesn’t say ‘please grope me’, I don't know what does.
