Their vegetarian sampler platter is pretty awesome, gives a good idea for what they have to offer, but unfortunately it means I have no idea what particular things I like. So I'm resigned to ordering it every time. :)

Two other terrific Middle Eastern restaurants y'all should try: on the cheap and for enthusiastic carnivores, Yemen Cafe (same nabe as Waterfalls) has amazing lamb dishes, and pricier and farther away but definitely the best Levantine homestyle cooking in the city is Tanoreen in Bay Ridge. Order the lamb-and-rice-stuffed zucchini in yogurt sauce---mmmmmm!

Huh, I always eat at Zaytoons when I'm craving middle eastern food, and I've walked by Waterfalls a million times but never gone in - but after this rave review I'll have to give Waterfalls a try.
