As fans of Thundercut, those cool cut-outs transposed on traffic signs, Gothamist was excited to learn the team has a new venture: Selling strawberry shortcakes on Coney Island. Really, check out the Coney Island Shortcakes blog, which details their efforts selling to the weekend crowds. One entry notes the magic of selling the treats:

I'm starting to realize what is going to make this shortcake business so fun for us. The people: a passerby that turns into a customer at the sight of strawberries and whip-cream.
Mmm, strawberries and whipped cream on a hot summer day can't go wrong.

Check out this video of Thundercut assembling a sign. And the Paracute Jump will be illuminated on July 7!
