so when is arbitration against Kalilow going to start? $1 salary notwithstanding, everytime the train system comes to a complete halt when it rains just a bit too much and it takes me 4 hours to get home, he should be personally fined a million or so.

Irrespective of where the money came from, it just seems silly to have an doughy, old man driving around in a Ferrari. I mean, Thomas Magnum belonged in the Ferrari, but could you ever imagine Higgins driving it? Sorry, it just seems worse than "buying sports car during midlife crisis." I could see Kalikow pulling up next to Ross (from "Friends") and saying, "How cool are we?" Anyhoo, back to the point. So when is arbitration against the TWU going to start? I can't wait for those SOBs to lose everything.

How exactly would raising the fair let Kalikow, who doesn't get paid by the MTA and was a multi-millionaire before heading it, afford another Ferrari? Look, I'm no Kalikow fan, but an ad hominem attack based on a fallacious innuendo isn't a valid criticism.

Kalikow did not buy a Ferarri off MTA money--the MTA gives him a symbolic salary of $1 a year. I wish everyone would stop talking about the Ferarri. He bought that with his own money.
